party @ judy's

I'm not sure what this party was celebrating.  I think every little group there had an idea about the purpose:  some thought it was a frat party, others thought it was a birthday party, and I assumed it was a generic house party.

I suppose it doesn't matter if the main attraction is beer-pong.

The game is simple and the rules are subtle, but the goal is clear:  to get as drunk as possible

Some people danced, but most milled around, talking amongst themselves.

Nobody seemed to mind the distorted music from a small iPod speaker system, except for the Brookline police...

When beer just isn't enough, try shots of any miscellaneous liquor available.  Mix with Red Bull if you want to keep the party going for several days.

another toast. to what? who cares!

they asked for flash on this one

too much of a good thing?

Keg stands are unusual in that they seem to be reserved for later in the party.  Unfortunately, by then you may be too inebriated to lift your buddies.

last kiss of the night

Even as more people were arriving, and others were passing out or stumbling home, the police decided to call an end to the party around 2:00AM.

Everyone scattered as if playing hide-and-seek.  I didn't stick around to see if any of the underaged folks made it out alive.

On my hour-long walk home from Brookline, I noticed a sign that I thought might be useful as one of those anthropological markers for the future.  Remember the days when chicken tenders were $1.88 per pound?

My sister remarked the other day that I should take city-scape shots of Boston at night, so here they are.
