After a month of sleeping on a mattress on the floor, my back finally told me to get myself a bed frame.

Originally, I was going to get the Heimdal frame, but when we went to Ikea on Labor Day weekend, the Heimdals were sold out. I've been frameless since then.

I searched on Craig's List and quickly found this nice Malm bed. It's not made of metal, but maybe I'm better off with a wooden bed – there's less maintenance and fewer parts to lubricate/rotate/etc.

Take a good look at my newly-made bed: it'll never look as neat as it does right now. And I didn't even do a decent job making the bed.
