Eddie defended his Philosophy dissertation at Umass Amherst on June 2nd and officially became a Doctor of Philosophy. 

I took these photos with a quiet camera so as not to disrupt the grilling Eddie was receiving from the learned committee of professors.

On June 12th, Velvet Ed made his debut at Elements.  Because only Ph.D's are allowed to DJ at Drum & Bass night, Eddie was finally able to make his big break.  Who knew all that education would pay off? 

The Tabblo crew from past and present showed our support.  Some people made the unusual effort of staying out past their bedtime for this one night only.
