37,000 people showed up on the first day of summer to watch the Red Sox destroy the Washington Nationals. __
It was my second Red Sox game, although the view from the grandstands left much to the imagination. At least the light at sunset had a nice quality (if a bit blinding for a while). __
The experience left me wondering, in what other venue would thousands of people voluntarily spend at least $4.25 for a bottle of Coke?
